had to exist.
One of us spent years watching the world build AI for lawyers, marketers and developers. Nobody was building it for the patient sitting alone at home, not quite sure whether they took their blood pressure pill this morning.
So we built DESHA.AI, the Global Patient Companion Platform.
The Problem We Saw

Half of all chronic patients never finish their prescribed course. It isn't that they don't care. Life gets loud, reminders fade, and healthcare systems have no feedback loop between appointments.
That gap costs $500 billion a year in avoidable hospitalizations. It kills 125,000 people in the US alone every year. And nearly every solution on the market was a glorified alarm clock.
We knew the technology to fix this already existed. We'd spent years building it at Microsoft. The only real question was whether anyone would.

The Idea is Born
Deep Sharma, after 9 years at Microsoft, sees the gap clearly. Great AI tools exist for businesses, but none for the most vulnerable healthcare consumer, the patient. He starts designing the DESHA.AI architecture.
Team Assembles
Ritesh Thakur joins to lead operations, bringing a systematic approach to scalability and execution. The founding team combines deep AI engineering with operational discipline to turn the vision into a shipping product.
MedNote Launches
The first product to go live is MedNote, the AI medication adherence companion. 6-level escalation architecture, 73 voice-language support, prescription OCR. The flywheel begins to turn.
Building the Full Platform
HRS Score, DocNote and Desha-Vault follow, each layer adding clinical depth to the patient data MedNote already captures. The Global Patient Companion Platform takes shape.
